Molly Brownfield (2021-2024)

Molly Brownfield served as the Director of the Tarlton Law Library and Assistant Dean for Information Services at the University of Texas School of Law before joining Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in 2024 as the Director of the Pritzker Legal Research Center, Associate Dean of Information Services, and Senior Lecturer.

Molly's career in law librarianship began at the Tarlton Law Library, where she worked as a Tarlton Fellow. She then worked as a law librarian at Rutgers Law School in Newark, NJ. Following her time at Rutgers, she served as the Head of Reference Services and a Lecturing Fellow at Duke University School of Law in Durham, NC. In addition to her academic roles, Molly managed library services at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP, and practiced trademark law at Kelly IP, LLP in Washington, DC.

Molly holds a B.A. in French and Comparative Area Studies from Duke University, a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, and a Master of Science in Information Studies from the University of Texas School of Information.
