Law school exams are taken using specialized software that you have to download to your computer. At UT Law, we use software called Exam4.
Before the finals period of each semester, the Student Affairs Office will email you detailed instructions on how to take your exams, including how to install and use Exam4 and how to take a practice exam. Please read this email carefully! Taking a practice exam with the Exam4 software will help you figure out if there are any technical issues before your exams start.
The Exam4 software is updated often, so you will want to make sure that you have the current version installed. To see if the current version of Exam4 is compatible with your operating system, you can consult this page.
