The Tarlton Law Library is open at this time with access limited to current UT Law students, faculty, and staff. Members of the UT Austin community unaffiliated with the law school may contact the Circulation Desk (firstname.lastname@example.org, 512-471-7726) for assistance with accessing library resources. Online reference services are also available. Please see the Tarlton Reopening FAQs and the Texas Law Fall 2020 Reopening Plan for additional details
Law school exams are taken using specialized software that you have to download to your computer. At UT Law, we use software called Exam4.
Before the finals period of each semester, the Student Affairs Office will email you detailed instructions on how to take your exams, including how to install and use Exam4 and how to take a practice exam. Please read this email carefully! Taking a practice exam with the Exam4 software will help you figure out if there are any technical issues before your exams start.
The Exam4 software is updated often, so you will want to make sure that you have the current version installed. To see if the current version of Exam4 is compatible with your operating system, you can consult this page.
You can contact the Tech Desk if you need assistance with Exam4 installation.
