Guide to basic research on Mexican law in the Tarlton Law Library

Overview

Tarlton Law Library has a major collection of Mexican legal materials. The collection is in more than one place in the Law Library. This guide is intended to bring together references for researching Mexican law in the Law Library, as well as electronically.

Location of Mexican Legal Materials

The main area of the Law Library holding Mexican legal materials is KGF 10 to KGF 9900, stacks 345 and 346 on the 3rd floor of the law library.

The Foreign and International Law librarian is available for reference help and consultation.  He cannot give substantive advice on legal questions or interpret legal materials.  Reference help is available on a walk-in basis; however, those needing extensive help may need to set up an appointment.  Limited telephone reference is available during normal business hours. 

*When the office is closed, the Reference Librarian on the main floor can help you during their regularly scheduled reference hours.
