The e-Scan™ scanning kiosk is designed for scanning any bound document into PDF, JPG, or TIFF formats. Output may be sent to your e-mail account as a file attachment or saved to a USB key. There is no charge for use of the e-scan™.
The Copyright Law of the United States (Title 17, U.S. Code) governs the making of photocopies and other reproductions of copyrighted material. Such copies can be made only under certain conditions. One such condition is that the photocopy or reproduction not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship or research." Use of the reproduction may make the user liable for copyright infringement. The Library reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would violate the copyright law.
UT students can print from their laptops to laser printers located next to the circulation desk, on the 4th floor, and to printers in the Computer Learning Center. Printers are also located in Townes Hall in the Tom Clark Lounge and in George's Café. Print software and a funded BevoBucks account are required. Contact the Tarlton Tech Desk for assistance.
