Guide to Researching the CISG

The CISG is the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods

Introduction

Tarlton Law Library has a comprehensive collection of materials devoted to the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).  It is possible to do in-depth research on any question related to the CISG using the print and online resources available in the law library.

Location of CISG Materials

The main area of the collection with materials on the CISG is call number K 1028.3198, stack 326.  These materials are located on the 3rd floor of the library (map).

The Foreign and International Law librarian is available for reference help and consultation.  He cannot give substantive advice on legal questions or interpret legal materials.  Reference help is available on a walk-in basis; however, those needing extensive help may need to set up an appointment.  Limited telephone reference is available during normal business hours.
