European Union Law

Guide to basic research on European Union law in the Tarlton Law Library

Overview

The Law Library is an official depository of publications from the EU. Many of these publications are legal or law-related. The Publications Office of the European Union now makes many EU publications available in PDF for free on the World Wide Web through its EU Publications page.  This has resulted in a decrease in the amount of material that the Law Library receives in hard copy.

Also, the Law Library has built a major collection of materials about EU law from many other publishers.

Location of EU Materials

European Union materials are located on the 3rd floor of the library (map).  General call number ranges where publications from the EU or about EU law will be found are:

  • JX 1982 - JX 1984, stacks 322/323
  • KJE 916 - KJE 7975, stacks 349
