The Tarlton Law Library is open at this time with access limited to current UT Law students, faculty, and staff. Members of the UT Austin community unaffiliated with the law school may contact the Circulation Desk (circ@law.utexas.edu, 512-471-7726) for assistance with accessing library resources. Online reference services are also available. Please see the Tarlton Reopening FAQs and the Texas Law Fall 2020 Reopening Plan for additional details
Course reserve materials, which are materials kept in closed stacks behind Tarlton's Circulation Desk, are available to students for limited check-out periods. Faculty may request materials relevant to specific Law School classes be placed on course reserve. (There is no “permanent course reserve” collection.) All videocassette recordings of Law School classes are automatically placed on course reserve.
Faculty members may place personal copies of resources on course reserve. All materials will be returned at the end of the semester (unless requested sooner).
You can search current course reserve lists by instructor name and by course name.

Removing items from course reserve
All course reserve items are removed from the course reserves collection at the end of the semester.
