Student FAQs on Remote Library Services

This guide provides answers to common questions students may have about how to access Tarlton services remotely.

What is Duo, and how do I get started using it?

Duo is multi-factor authentication software, which adds a layer of security when accessing electronic services. The University of Texas now requires all students, faculty, and staff to use Duo to access the majority of its online applications and resources, including Canvas, webmail, and most databases.

To get started using Duo, please see the information provided by UT's Information and Technology Services Department.
