The Tarlton Law Library is distinguished in a number of ways:
The Library serves an academic community of 1500 full-time law students and 100 faculty members. We also welcome members of the University community and members of the public to use our facility, resources, and services. The staff is happy to provide reference and research assistance, as well as guidance in using the collection.

Library collections are comprehensive in terms of American law. The Library also collects extensively in foreign and international law and in several interdisciplinary areas of study. Our Virtual Library is designed to be an inclusive gateway to online legal research. You will find descriptions of legal research sources organized by subject matter and by jurisdiction. The Virtual Library is designed to be useful both to the legal community and to members of the general public.
Finally, Library staff members are prepared to help in any way, whether it is a question about circulation, reference, legal research, or any other subject. Please feel free to contact us.
