- Access to legal materials by nation through the Law Library of Congress website. Nation pages typically include links to constitutions, executive, judicial and legislative resources, as well as legal guides and miscellaneous. Not all links are active.

INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS

United Nations
- Access to UN documents, maps, and databases. Also provides links to UN system websites as well as information regarding UN member states, goals and news.
European Union
- Access to EU documents with links to EU laws, legal institutions, financial and advisory bodies.
World Trade Organization
- Access to information regarding WTO structure, member nations, legal texts and official documents such as the GATT. Also provides access to the WTO digital library.
North Atlantic Treaty Organization
- Access to information regarding member and partner nations, and a digital library which includes basic texts, standardization agreements, comments on policy recommendations and news articles written by senior members of NATO.
Association of Southeast Asian Nations
- Access to information regarding member nations, links to organizational documents listed by year, summit documents and speeches given by the ASEAN Secretary General listed by date.

- Access to a variety of international legal resources. Also provides links to information regarding individual nations.
CIA World Fact Book
- Access to the CIA digital library, maps and publications. This includes the Freedom of Information Act Electronic Reading Room, Kent Center occasional papers, Center for the Study of Intelligence articles and various CIA reports.
Electronic Information System for World Law
- Research tool created by the American Society of International Law which provides links to both basic and detailed sources for a variety of international legal topics including general international law, international environmental law, and international human rights, among others.
EUR-Lex
- Access to European Union law including the Official Journal of the European Union, collections of treaties, international agreements, legislation in force, preparatory acts, case law, and parliamentary questions.
Global Courts
- Part of an ongoing research project on the global implementation of Judicial Decisions Support Systems, this website gives access to Supreme Court decisions in 129 countries, or a way of finding them.
GlobaLex
- Published by the Hauser Global Law School Program at NYU School of Law. Access to a variety of international, comparative, and foreign legal research tools including research guides for various countries with useful links and related articles.
Global Legal Information Network
- Searchable online database with access to the text of both governmental agencies and international organizations. This includes the official text of laws, regulations and judicial decisions as provided by GLIN members. Full text access is available for most documents, and all documents include a summary in English.
Hieros Gamos--Law Firms Around the World
- Information regarding international law firms by area of practice, city and region. Links are provided to information concerning international legal ethics, forms, law libraries and other legal and governmental information.
International Court of Justice
- Access to cases and decisions before the court, advisory proceedings, press releases and basic documents such as the statute of the court, rules of court and practice directions. Also provides information regarding member states, how the court works, and the court’s permanent administrative organ, the Registry.
The Multilaterals Project
- Sponsored by the Fletcher School at Tufts University, provides access to the texts of multilateral conventions organized by subject with a special emphasis on environmental agreements. Also provides links to a limited number of treaty and convention resources.
New York University Law Library – Foreign Collections by Jurisdiction
- Organized by country, these pages provide links to relevant databases and research guides. Some databases are fee-based and require a subscription.
NAFTA Info Site (USTR)
- Access to recent NAFTA news, fact sheets, and agreement specific documents. Also provides access to the Office of the US Trade Representative document library and information regarding trade agreements that involve the US which are in negotiations, pending and currently in force.
United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs
- Access to treaties and conventions involving international space law, legal subcommittee session information and the index of online reports of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space.
United Nations Treaty Collection
- Access to a variety of treaty related information. This includes the United Nations Treaty Series and its cumulative index, the League of Nations Treaty Series and monthly statements of treaties and international agreements.
United States International Trade Commission
- Access to the official harmonized tariff schedule, notices, information regarding both active and completed antidumping and countervailing duty investigations, intellectual property and unfair acts investigations and global and special safeguard investigations.
United States State Department
- General information about other nations, travel advisories, passports, and foreign press briefings. Also provides links to information regarding the various free trade agreements to which the U.S. is a party as well as information regarding the nation’s bilateral and regional climate partnerships.
United States Treaties in Force
- Access to the text of treaties and other international agreements to which the U.S. is a party.

- Access to more than 850 legal information databases from more than 120 countries and territories.
