Bar admission information and materials

The Texas Board of Law Examiners, an agency of the Supreme Court of Texas, investigates the character and fitness of students studying law in ABA-approved law schools in Texas who intend to apply for admission in Texas. The investigation determines whether the individual has been involved in criminal activities, fraudulent practices, or failures to comply with legal obligations and/or court orders. The Board investigates any activities suggestive of character traits that would have an impact on the responsibilities an attorney owes to clients, courts, and the legal profession.  For rules on admission to the State Bar of Texas, see the Board of Law Examiner's Rule Book at http://www.ble.state.tx.us/Rules/NewRules/rulebook_toc.htm.
