In mid-2000, William S. Hein & Co., Inc. launched HeinOnline, a product that initially provided online access to historical legal periodical content that was not available in any other online resource. Content was made available in the original page-image (PDF) format, ensuring authenticity.
Today, HeinOnline has more than 75 million pages of law and law-related research material stored digitally. Resources available on HeinOnline include: law journals; Restatements; the Code of Federal Regulations (1938-2009); the Federal Register (1936-2009); Statutes at Large (1789-2006); the U.S. Code (1925/6-2006); and session laws from various states, including California (1849-2000), New York (1777-2007)and Texas (1910-2007).
The Legal Classics library offers more than 1,400 works from some of the greatest legal minds in history, including Joseph Story, Louis Brandeis, Benjamin N. Cardozo and Edwardo Coke. In addition to many "classics," this collection includes rare items that are found in only a handful of libraries around the world.
Tarlton Law Library provides subscription access to HeinOnline for UT Law and the wider UT community. Spend some time exploring this valuable resource and all that it has to offer.
