- Federal documents
- Tarlton has been a
Federal Depository Library since 1965. The Government Documents department collects all Congressional publications and
selected law-related titles from the Executive and Judicial branches of the U.S. government.
- Foreign & international law
- Tarlton Law Library holds extensive collections in public international law, foreign law, and the law of private international transactions. The Foreign and International Law Department is responsible for developing these collections and for providing specialized assistance in their use.
- Interlibrary loan
- Materials not available on the UT Austin campus may be obtained for UT law students or UT law faculty through interlibrary loan.
- Publications
- Purchase items published by the Tarlton Law Library, including a Legal History Series and award-winning Oral Histories collection.
- Reference
- Learn how to contact Tarlton's reference librarians, who are available to help patrons locate information and to provide assistance in legal research methodology.
- Special collections
- Rare law books and archives, with emphasis on Texas law, law dictionaries, and UT Law School history.
- Table of contents
- Search a database of tables of contents from law-related periodicals, or subscribe to a daily email notification of recently-received periodical contents.
