Current Awareness Services

Table of Contents services and database

The Library subscribes to hundreds of law-related periodicals published both in the United States and abroad. Each day, as periodicals are received, the tables of contents of those issues are scanned and entered into a searchable database. The database is updated daily and available free of charge, representing the most current access to newly published legal scholarship.

UT Law Faculty interested in subscribing to the Library’s table of contents service should contact their library liaison.  Individuals may also subscribe to the daily table of contents service. Each business day, subscribers receive an e-mail that sets forth the table of contents of issues of legal periodicals received in the Library that day.

Subscribers may receive tables of contents only from periodicals published in the United States, from English-language periodicals published abroad, or from all periodicals included in the service. Subscription to the table of contents service is free to individuals with email addresses ending in .edu or .gov. Others may subscribe to the service for an annual fee of $100. To subscribe, please contact library@mail.law.utexas.edu
