Reference Librarian and Archivist Elizabeth Hilkin holds a JD from Mercer University School of Law and MSIS from the University of Texas. Assitant Archivist and Oral Historian Megan Blair holds a BA and an MA in History from Texas State University, and will be receiving her MS in Library and Information Science from Drexel University, Spring 2013.
The collections are non-circulating and must be used in the Rare Books Reading Room. Rare Books and Archival collections are generally avaliable for use, providing that the guidelines for the Rare Book Room are followed. While an appointment is not required, it is recommended. If you are coming from outside Austin, we especially urge you to contact us in advance, so that we can help you make the most of your research visit.
