Law and Lawyers in Popular Culture

The Print Collection

Frontispiece: LeRoy Scott, Counsel for the Defense, 1912. Thrilling with an unexpected hope, Katherine rose and tried to keep herself before the eyes of Doctor Sherman like an accusing conscience.

Tarlton Law Library has more than 5,000 print titles in the Law in Popular Culture Collection.

In order to depict the broad scope of the image of lawyers in Anglo-American popular culture, the print collection ranges from the Merchant of Venice and Bleak House to Daredevil comics. The links below, which will take you to our online catalog, provide a glimpse into the variety of print materials in the collection.
