Veal

We are born into crates of useful shapes
Don't grow too big, don't grow too fast,
Just grow into a useful fate.
Useful to whom?  You shouldn't ask.

Built Up

My God, I have to laugh.
All this work, and all I've done
Is built the prison (strong-I take pride in my work)
In which I find myself
Marking days on the wall with a bit of bone
Precious irreplaceable days.
