 In Support of Whimsy

As truth becomes the casualty of strife,
So we risk the loss of whimsy from our life,

The churning on the workplace floors
Leaves lessening time for pleasant chores.

Caprice's creativity needs tending;
The storehouse of spontaneity is not unending.

Bringing gaiety to the flagging soul
Is whimsy's quirky and renewing role.

Enjoy the cheer of its imagination;
Whimsy's aim is the spirit's elevation.
