Summary: Three beautiful women – brainy Chicago lawyer Lorena
(Sanchez), saucy Miami cocktail waitress Cici (Vergara), and wealthy, prim
New Yorker Patricia (Velasquez) – find out that they are all being romanced
by the same man, advertising exec Thomas “Papi” Fuentes when they simultaneously
arrive at his home. But Papi is unconscious, the result of mixing too much
alcohol with drugs, a self-medding effect of his anxiety at dating three
women. The girls spot another apparent girlfriend but she’s wearing a gun
and they take off with the unconscious Papi. But the woman is an FBI agent,
tracking money in the trunk of the car Cici has driven. The money belongs
to two drug dealers and soon enough they join the chase too. Along the
way the women realize that they don’t have to be enemies and must use each
other’s assets to make their getaway.
The dvd includes English/Spanish commentary from the director, cinematographer
