Summary: Young plays Larry Ballentine, a successful stockbroker, on trial for the murder of his wife. He claims that he had run off with another woman (Hayward), and on their way to Reno she was killed in a car wreck. When he returned home, he discovered that his wife had committed suicide. Will the jury believe this story?
