Course reserves

At the request of members of the faculty, materials relevant to specific Law School classes will be kept in closed stacks behind the Circulation Desk. Course reserve materials are available to students for limited check-out periods. All videocassette recordings of Law School classes are automatically placed on course reserve.

Course reserves will be limited to those items that faculty members specifically request be placed on course reserves. There is no “permanent course reserve” collection.

Current course reserve lists are searchable by instructor name and by course name.

Adding items to course reserve

At the beginning of every semester, the Library places on course reserve those items that are identified by the Law School faculty. Faculty members may place items in any media on course reserve at any time by submitting an online course reserve request, or by contacting either their liaisons or Teri Lloyd ( , 471-7726).

The Library will also scan copies of articles or other packet-like materials into a .pdf format so that these materials can be made available in the online reserve area or on individual Blackboard classes.

Faculty members may place personal copies of resources on course reserve. All materials will be returned at the end of the semester (unless requested sooner).

Removing items from course reserve

All course reserve items are removed from the course reserves collection at the end of the semester.
