Copies of government documents

Thousands of titles may be purchased from Government Printing Office bookstores throughout the United States. Purchases may be made in person or by phone, and payments may be made by Visa or Mastercard. Not all government publications are sales items, but non-sales titles can often be obtained free-of-charge from the issuing agency. Some legislative documents are available free of charge from Congress and the General Accounting Office.

Documents available for purchase are most often recent publications or titles which continued to be "best sellers" over the years. Free items available from Congress will be very recent titles, and supplies are quickly depleted.
