The Tarlton Law Library at The University of Texas at Austin has launched two additional current awareness services, Current Patent Literature and Current Trademark Literature. These services provide basic bibliographic data for recent articles focused on patent and trademark law appearing in U.S. legal journals and non-U.S. legal journals published in English. Additionally, the first page of each article is available for 60 days.
The Current Patent Literature and Current Trademark Literature services complement Tarlton’s Current Copyright Literature service. The goal is to create a suite of awareness services covering the major areas of intellectual property law. Jane O’Connell, director of faculty and student services, edits these new awareness services, which will not only enrich the law school curriculum, but also assist practitioners seeking the latest intellectual property articles. Both services are RSS-enabled to allow users to receive automatic notices of updates.
The full range of Tarlton's current awareness services can be accessed through Tarlton's Virtual Library.
